The Board of Directors of Bradley Air Services Limited, commercially known as Canadian North, are pleased to announce that Mr. Rashwan Domloge has been appointed as the new Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian North, effective April 6th, 2022.
This interim appointment comes as the result of the departure of Chris Avery, who has left Canadian North effective April 6th, 2022. The Board thanks Chris for his contributions to the organization and wish him well in his future endeavours.
Mr. Domloge joined Canadian North in 2008 as Vice President, Maintenance and Engineering and has held that position for the last 13 years. During this time he has demonstrated steady leadership and a deep understanding of the technical requirements of operating a northern airline. He has also been instrumental in ensuring that key milestones were achieved during the recent merger of First Air and Canadian North Inc.
With over 40 years of experience in the aviation industry, the Board feels that Rashwan’s interim leadership will help our next President & CEO be successful, and that he will provide excellent support and consistent leadership to the organization during this time of transition.
Mr. Domloge currently holds his Canadian AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) license, as well as an FAA (US Federal Aviation Administration) license. He also has a BSC in Aeronautical Engineering and has held senior roles at previous organizations including Air Transat and other global aviation organizations.
“As we move through this time of transition, being able to rely on Rashwan’s consistent leadership approach and commitment to our Airline’s operations is vitally important. We know we can depend on Rashwan and so can our employees, customers and the communities we serve,” said Executive Chairman Johnny Adams.
