With almost 8 years of management experience from Emirates, Abdulla Adnan has been selected to manage Emirates operation in Tanzania. He takes over from Majid Al Falasi, who will take on the role of Country Manager - Sudan.
In a statement, Emirates said that the role, effective from July 2022, sees Adnan leading the airline’s operations, customer sales and promotions, cargo, and airport operations, besides overseeing key stakeholder relations in Tanzania.
Abdulla Adnan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and International Business from the American University of Ras Al Khaimah.
This summer, Emirates carried out a number of management rotations across its commercial operations team in the Middle East, Far East, Europe and Africa, positioning UAE talent in key markets and global commercial roles.

Emirates operate five passenger flights a week between Dar es Salaam and Dubai on its Boeing 777-300ER has been in business in Tanzania for almost 25 years. Emirates is one of two flag carriers of the United Arab Emirates. Based in Garhoud, Dubai, the airline is a subsidiary of The Emirates Group, which is owned by the government of Dubai's Investment Corporation of Dubai.
