Job Purpose
In this role, you will serve as a liaison between stakeholders and IT team, capturing requirements directly with business users and preparing the product backlog. You will be involved in all phases of project life cycle including solution design, development, testing, user acceptance, go-live planning and post-production support. You will act as the business domain subject matterexpert within IT and assist the development team in understanding the requirements, provide all the necessary inputs for the team to complete development in timely manner, and will also ensure high adoption of the solutions by the business unit. You may also have to work with external solution providers, documenting solution requirements and validating if the vendor solutionmeets business expectations. We need your experience in training, coaching and guiding the junior IT members.
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluating business processes, process modelling, uncovering areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions.
- Working closely with business users, development team, vendors and internal supporting departments.
- Leading RFI, RFP, Technical Review and procurement process for IT Solutions with business users.
- Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
- Performing requirements analysis and prioritizing initiatives based on business requirements.
- Produce complete and high quality requirement deliverables including but not limited to Business Processes, Scenarios, Use Cases, Exceptions and other additional required viewpoints to translate requirement into solutions.
- Manage and support traceability of requirements across the project lifecycle from initiator to requirements, design, build, test and deployment/
- Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports, for insights and business cases.
Qualifications
About You
- Bachelor's Degree / Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience or willing to consider Business Analayst role without job related experience.
- Knowledge of end-to-end software development life cycle, starting from requirements phase until delivery and rollout preferably on Azure DevOps using SCRUM methodology.
- Experience in tools like Visio or equivalent to create business process flow diagrams under the functional requirements sections.
- Experience in influencing stakeholders and working closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Experience in transitioning of requirements into proper user stories and providing inputs to the development and testing teams during the execution phase of the project.
- Excellent communication and language skills.
