Role Introduction
Reports to: Line Maintenance Training & Development Manager
Location / Country: Incheon / Korea
Employment Condition: Permanent
We are looking for Line Maintenance Instructor who is expected to conduct training on company procedures, line maintenance theoretical knowledge and instructions to frontline staff, and design, produce and maintain training and course materials, as well as to manage training data and statistics in Learning Hub, and participate in training digitisation projects as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
General
- Deliver Mechanic induction training, Aircraft general knowledge training, Line Maintenance knowledge training (Aircraft and Cabin), Human Factors/Crew Resource Management training and HKAR66 Module Familiarisation training
- Prepare content, maintain and update course material to ensure ongoing compliance with latest syllabus and regulatory requirements
- Perform the roles of an internal knowledge examiner, monitoring and preparing theoretical knowledge examinations
- Monitor and report on student progress throughout the syllabus of training
- Ensure lesson plans, training materials, classrooms, in house examinations and training aids are prepared in a timely manner
- Preserve the confidentiality of privileged, sensitive or otherwise confidential Company, individual employee information and all rights and regulations in relation to Intellectual property
- Extensive travel to line stations for training delivery is required (sometimes outside of the Northeast Asia region). Approximately more than half of the job holder’s time will be out of their home port.
- Report KPIs, training progress and on related matters as required
E&A
- Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/aviation or a recognised Aircraft Maintenance License
- At least 5 years of relevant aviation experience
- Experience in coaching or line maintenance instruction / training
- Extensive airline operational experience as an engineer or at supervisory level
- Strong English language capabilities – both written and verbal
- Previous experience in training / reference content creation is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels
- Ability to travel within the region and beyond for a considerable time
- Must have the legal right to live and work in Korea
