Thales Aviation Global Services (AGS) in Singapore perform after-sales support and repair activities for aircraft OEM and airlines. This position is required by AGS to support Transformation Projects and Performance Initiatives (PI). The mission is to manage the global projects and monitor the progress of all the PIs using Microsoft Projects (MSP).
The intern will be working with various teams within the AGS global network in US, France, UAE and Singapore. In the course of work, he/she will have the opportunity to participate in various discussion with different hierarchy, function and culture. There will be opportunities to learn how the after-sales business activities in repair, sales & marketing, engineering, supply chain, logistics etc, and to understand how each project could benefit the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update project schedule on MSP.
- Assist (and potentially lead) in regular meetings with Work Package Managers for project updates
- Provide bi-weekly and monthly project status/report by individual projects
- Provide window of opportunity to improve project timeline
- Monitor all project progress.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Projects (must), Powerpoint and Excel
- Mature and able to work with minimal supervision
- Experience in managing small projects
- Good interpersonal skills, writing and verbal skills
- Willingness to learn, able to grasp new ideas
