Position Summary
The Parker Hannifin Corporate Internship Program was established in 1978 to identify and develop college students who show promise of being productive Parker Team Members by providing real-world experience in disciplines critical to Parker’s business.
As an intern, you will gain experience while supporting the department’s function.
Responsibilities
Possible areas of work include:
- Procurement
- Develop insights to supply chain management
- Review, approve, and process purchase orders
- Manage data related to supply chain and using data analytics to drive positive action
- Improving working capital through inventory management and supplier payment terms
- We seek interns who will make meaningful contributions in support of our service to our suppliers, customers and the company’s Win Strategy.
Qualifications & Requirements:
This is an in-person role based out of Akron, OH
Ability to work from May/June 2025 - August 2025 full-time
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (with a specialization or concentration in Supply Chain Management or Logistics) at an accredited 4-yr college or university in the United States
- Have completed at least one year of college
- Cumulative GPA of at least 2.7
- Have completed courses in Supply Chain Management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- No relocation or Visa sponsorship provided.
- Available to work onsite 40 hours per week during the Summer of 2025.
- Schedule can be flexible but require interns to be onsite at our Akron site
