We have an exciting leadership opportunity within the
BGS Parts and Distribution Services for a
Senior Manager, Business Development, Distributions Services (Level L), leading business development team for distribution P&L. This is a senior manager role reporting to the executive director of strategy and business development in
Dallas, TX.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities
We need a Senior Manager to join our team and bring the following:
- Manage, coach, train and mentor direct reports
- Develop and execute growth strategies for distribution business
- Size and analyze the distribution market
- Expand distribution offerings by identifying new opportunities, and winning new exclusive and competitive product lines
- Renew existing distributions services agreements
- Manages the gated process and ensure strong cross functional coordination
- Continuously build strong business development pipeline
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the stakeholders both externally and internally
Candidate must demonstrate:
- Exceptional Leadership: Provide strong people & team leadership skills to develop talent across a multi-site team. This key responsibility will include but not be limited to recruiting, mentoring, skill development & evaluation, internal training, and talent management

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.
- 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- 10 plus years work experience in business development and leading business strategy.
- 5+ years of experience in business development and strategy in aerospace or equivalent industries.
- Previous experience in managing/leading teams.
- Strong understanding of aviation or aerospace experience.
- Ability to travel to support business and team requirements (approximately 10%-20%)
- Strong experience in business finance

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: 154,700 - 209,300
