Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for IT infrastructure and security initiatives that align with corporate objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing IT and security teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet project deadlines and optimize operational efficiency.
- Policy Development: Establish, enforce, and continuously improve policies and procedures related to IT and security, ensuring compliance with corporate governance and regulatory standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with leadership and other departments to integrate IT and security strategies with business goals.
- Security Strategy Development: Oversee the physical security strategies to protect facilities, personnel, and assets.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular physical security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure all physical security measures comply with internal policies, contractual obligations, and legal requirements.
- Incident Response: Lead the response to physical security incidents, coordinating with law enforcement and internal stakeholders as necessary.
- Cybersecurity Leadership: Maintain and improve the cybersecurity program to protect information systems and data from threats aligned with Corporate.
- Threat Monitoring and Response: Oversee the monitoring of security systems for potential threats and manage the response to cybersecurity incidents.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure logical security practices comply with regulations such as PCI CP.
- Security Awareness Programs: Promote cybersecurity awareness across the organization through training and communication initiatives.
- Vulnerability Management: Oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and the implementation of remediation strategies.
- Infrastructure Oversight: Manage the planning, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Network Security: Oversee the security and optimization of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Audit Coordination: Manage internal and external audits related to IT and security, ensuring timely remediation of findings.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate IT and security controls to ensure effectiveness and drive improvement efforts.
Minimum Requirements
Experience
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in IT and security roles with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
- IT Operations Management: Demonstrated success in overseeing complex IT infrastructure and support services.
- Networking Proficiency: Solid understanding of networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, routing, switching, and overlay networks.
- Security Technologies: Knowledge of database and network security systems, firewall configurations, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term plans and translate them into actionable initiatives.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations and make informed decisions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with customers, technical teams, and stakeholders at all levels.
Certifications
- Professional Certifications: CISSP, CISM, PMP, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
