Role Summary
The Pricing Analyst works on a fast-paced team whose responsibilities include analyzing changes in market conditions such as capacity, competition, schedules and inventory. The pricing team makes decisions in the development, implementation and tracking of appropriate pricing strategies, and provides recommendations to generate revenue and push the business forward.
Key Duties

In the entry level, under general supervision, the Pricing Analyst I analyzes and prices a $1B scope of markets using complex data tools and sources.

In the intermediate level, the Pricing Analyst II leverages proficiency with pricing tools, processes, systems and revenue management principles to analyze market conditions and competition, and develop advanced pricing solutions within an increasingly complex scope of high profile Alaska Air Group (AAG) markets. This role is also responsible for supporting the analysis and execution of one of our revenue generating fare products (Saver, Premium Class, First Class, Dynamic Pricing, etc.) using BI skills to model and analyze results and make suggestions to drive revenue.

In the senior level, as a subject matter expert in pricing, the Pricing Analyst III determines an effective approach to ambiguous business challenges within a complex scope of markets, is accountable to meeting/exceeding unit revenue goals and KPIs, and exercises considerable judgement to make and communicate pricing decisions across the company. This role is also responsible for leading the analysis and execution of one or our revenue generating fare products (Saver, Premium Class, First Class, Dynamic Pricing, etc.) using BI skills to model, analyze and build dashboards used by the pricing team and senior leadership.

Entry Level
Required
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, industrial engineering or related discipline, or 2 years of experience in pricing, analytics or related area in lieu of this degree.
Intermediate Level
Required

2 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, analytics or related area.

Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, industrial engineering or related discipline, or an additional 2 years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
Senior Level
Required

4 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, analytics or related area.

Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, industrial engineering or related discipline, or an additional 2 years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
All Levels
Required

Salary Range
$78,000-$142,600 / year
Pay Details
Entry level: $78,000 - $87,150
Intermediate level: $78,000 - $111,600
Senior level: $95,000 - $142,600
Salary Details
Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees. Alaska/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.
Note: We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
