Summary
The Crew Services Supervisor must have a detailed working knowledge of the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s), Crew Member Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), Allegiant crew scheduling procedures and policies, excellent communication skills, leadership skills, and the ability to work with all levels of management.

Minimum Requirements
A combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Years of Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience in a Crew Scheduling role, preferably in a Supervisory capacity, or equivalent education
• Professional demeanor with the ability to function in a high stress environment.
• Must have the availability to work varying shift work including graveyards, weekends and holidays.
• Must possess strong leadership skills to support the Crew Scheduling team and OCC environment.
• Complete understanding of the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s).
• Ability to work independently, problem solve, and think outside of the box.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Access, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• Experience with tracking, trending, and reporting data to leadership and other business partners.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English in order to receive and understand instructions, directives, and ensure safety, as well as the ability to interact with our internal customers is a requirement of the job.
• Ability to travel if required.
• Ability to guide, supervise, empower, and develop the skills and abilities of all crew scheduling employees.

• Associate's degree or equivalent.
• Experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs).
• Previous supervisory experience.
Job Duties
• Guide, supervise, empower and develop the skills and abilities of all crew scheduling employees.
• Ensure crew member assignments are in accordance with the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s) and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs); to include qualifications and international rules.
• Maintain and monitor the day-to-day operations, including crew staffing and legality concerns.
• Provide on the job training for new employees within the department; training to include FARs, CBAs, as well as department and organizational policies and procedures.
• Hire, discipline, and offer termination recommendations.
• Responsible for all Crew Scheduling employees schedule and payroll, including:
- Evaluating PTO, shift trades and sick time.
- Management of department coverage concerns and overtime.
- Enforcement of the OCC attendance policy.
• Conduct and provide quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all Crew Scheduling employees to prepare for annual reviews.
• Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all data within the Crew Scheduling system.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and solutions to leadership.
• Ensure employees abide by Crew Scheduling, Crew Travel, and Crew Payroll policies and procedures.
• Conduct system audits to ensure departmental processes and procedures meet quality assurance and compliance standards
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Crew Scheduling.
• Assist with all phases and testing within Crew Scheduling platforms and systems to identify regression and conduct UAT testing.
• Interface with other departments to adequately plan and coordinate assignments for crew members for all scheduled, chartered and ad-hoc flights.
• Evaluate, process and communicate all non-routine requests received by other business departments.
• Provide a verbal and written operations summary and pass down to the following crew-scheduling shift and leadership if needed.
• Administer, implement, and enforce Crew Scheduling and Company policies and goals as established and directed by the Director of Crew Services.
• Assist with the reconciliation of company credit card as needed.
• Conduct investigations on crew scheduling processes as needed or requested.
• Complete delegated projects from leadership to include audits, data trending, and other needs from business requirements.
• Research, review and provide input to crewmember fatigue reports and attend the Allegiant Pilot and Flight Attendant Fatigue Risk Review Committees (FRRC) when requested.
• Ensure any direct reports understand and apply our customer commitment and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities as appropriate.
• Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions as well as providing leadership direction to all crew scheduling employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
