Astroncs Connectivity Systems & Certification-Kent designs, engineers, manufactures and certifies innovative, reliable digital in-flight entertainment and cabin management systems (IFE/CMS) for the corporate, private and VIP aircraft industry. Job Functions/Purpose
Responsible for reviewing test requirements, building test support equipment, setting up test configurations, and checking the functionality of test units. Conducts electrical testing of products, reviews and reports test results, modifies any failing test units, and retests as necessary. Additionally, maintains the work area according to established test standards and laboratory operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

- Review specifications and test requirements.
- Build test cables to production-level standards, including crimps, splices, heat shrink, wraps, and soldering. Solder and assemble components onto printed wiring boards.
- Conducts work using a microscope, including soldering and inspecting circuit card assemblies (CCAs).
- Check the functionality of units based on the engineering-released documents.
- Set up test equipment for functional and environmental testing according to DO-160 and other relevant standards.
- Conduct tests based on established requirements using digital multimeters (DMM), oscilloscopes, frequency generators, high-frequency power supplies, and other equipment to evaluate product performance and reliability.
- Analyze and interpret test data, reporting any abnormalities.
- If applicable, perform rework on failing units and assemble experimental units based on instructions from engineering and lab engineers, then conduct retesting.
- Coordinate with minimal supervision while demonstrating a high level of personal initiative.
- Assist other areas in maintaining project timelines.
Education/ Experience
Associate’s degree; or a minimum of 2 years of related work experience in lieu of education.

The salary range specified is applicable to positions within the Washington State and reflects various factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, individual skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and the specific needs of our business and organization. At Astronics CSC, it is uncommon for new hires to receive an offer at or near the top end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are made based on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate. The current estimated yearly salary range for this position is $22.00 to $28.00 per hour. In addition, you will be eligible for our Quarterly Incentive compensation bonus. Astronics offers a competitive salary and opportunities for career growth.
