Shift patterns: 4 On 4 Off - 2 Days (4am - 4pm) and 2 Nights (4pm to 4am)

We're seeking a XXX to play an integral role in our aviation contract, delivering a first-class service and achieving fantastic results.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- Ensuring the customer's product is delivered consistently to demanding service level standards and set on time performance targets
- Adherence to compliance both internal and external regulatory bodies
- Maintain and promote H&S culture across the site
- Ownership of all people related matters within the operation from thorough investigations to colleague engagement meetings
- Ownership of day to day sickness and absence management processes
- Support Pier leads as part of escalation response with Customer engagemnet and act as point oof escalation to the colleague pool
- Review, develop and maintain/improve operational processes through Continous improvement opportunities
- investigate and respond to any H+S incidents and associated pack completions for review
- Liaise with management team on safety audits and support implementation plans
- Responsible for supporting the Shift Manager with managing the departmental / team budget specifically for overtime
- Carry out HR functions as required ensuring compliance with all HR processes and policies including investigations and Grievance management
- Conduct 1-2-1's for direct reports with evidence of development feedback and develop a pipeline of successors within the department
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

- Preferred experience within aviation ground handling or DHL Management
- Experience in a team working environment.
- Ability to manage HR functions at site level
- Strong people management skills
SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL
- Be able to provide five years address history
- Be able to provide five years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
- To obtain a full airside ID
- Pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
