JSG is looking for a CNC Machinist - 2nd or 3rd Shift to work at one of our premier Aerospace Clients in Downers Grove, IL.

PAY RATE: $24-$30+ DOE Position Summary:The candidate will be required to set-up, operate, and adjust CNC machines, Lathes and/or Mills. Work from drawings and written instructions to create parts. May need to make offsets to programs on CNC Machines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all phases of part operations, maintains part conformance per sketch and drawing requirements.
- Perform and maintain accurate in-process quality inspection and records.
- Identify and recommend process improvements that reduce part quality variation.
- Input data into visual management forms and convey results to management.
- Continuously improve processes, procedures, and eliminate waste.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience operating CNC Lathes and/or Mills
- Skilled in the use of indicator, gage, dial bores, and plate inspection methods for first article and in-process inspection of precision machined parts.
- Ability to maintain close tolerances (within .0003”), hold .0003 profile, roundness.
- Ideal candidate will have experience with AS9100, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma
- Per ITAR requirements, must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder)
