As a Data Migration (Junior) IT Expert, you will play a critical role in the transition from Lufthansa Group’s legacy HCM systems to SAP SuccessFactors. Your work will enable clean, validated, and structured data migration — the backbone of a stable and reliable go-live.
Tasks
Data Analysis, Transformation & Migration
- Analyze legacy SAP HCM structures and other required data sources
- Develop transformation logic aligned with SuccessFactors data model
- Code extraction and transformation routines using ABAP
- Execute test migrations and support defect resolution across mock cycles
- Validate migrated data against source systems for completeness and correctness
- Support data cleansing and enrichment activities with business teams
*Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors
Requirements
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of SAP HCM basics (data structures & infotypes)
- 2+ years of Excel data analysis (Power Query; macros - nice to have)
- Understanding of data mapping, rules, field-level transformations, picklists
- Programming skills (preferably ABAP) will be a strong asset
- Familiarity with ETL or data migration tools - nice to have)
- Experience in data validation, cleansing, and large-scale data handling - nice to have)
- Ability to identify structural data issues quickly and accurately
- Strong English proficiency
- Structured, independent, quality-oriented working style
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure during testing and cutover phases
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Team player with intercultural communication competence
- Ownership mindset and accountability for deliverables
