Responsibilities :
Technical Support
• To provide prompt resolution to the technical issues or problems related to repair activities in order to minimize work stoppages, which approach the ARU objectives and improve the productive time consumption of technical specialist.
• To manage and lead the new repair capability set-up in ARU.
• Provide professional technical support such as BITE decoding, liaising with PSE or OEM IPE centre for technical consultation.
• To analyse the repair process to introduce any new methodology for enhancing the test means or tooling modification, or revising procedure to gain a higher efficiency and productivity.
• Technical document review and technical writing. Create technical document when necessary to comply with the airworthiness requirement.
• Support quality analysis from technical viewpoint.
• Risk identify and analysis.
• PE Process optimization.
• WW engineering communications.
• Airworthiness tracking.
Means and Tools Maintenance
• Swift response to top priority task, work out effective solutions, minimize test bench downtime.
• Perform maintenance tasks through the life cycle of a test bench. Include scheduling, preventive / curative / autonomous maintenance, failure database management, and utilization monitoring, as well as in-house equipment repair, means & tools improvement, spare parts management, equivalency replacement, local fabricate and optimization.
• Software maintenance, calibration maintenance, technical support to equipment logistics.
• To be responsible for the purchasing and/or sourcing for new or replacement tooling, fabrication of test boxes/connections, outsourcing of the test equipment repairs.
• To ensure that all test means are at high availability to meet the KPI.
• Analysis bench available rate.
Inventory Control
• Manage the inventory of PE including chemical, non-Thales consumables, M&T (Means & Tools) maintenance materials, quarantine pool, and equipment/tool stock.
• Technical sourcing, limited to manual tools, equipment/instrument, M&T maintenance materials and non-Thales consumables,
• Purchasing request preparation, and follow the procurement process.
• Vendor information management.
Technical Publication
• Do technical document publication following Thales process.
• Monitor the Tech Pub status
• Have a general understanding of the technical documents and classify them correctly.
• Use digital tool to governance the technical documents as requirement.
• Communicate with OEM and other Thales IPE centre for any document issues.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Aeronautics or Electronics Engineering or equivalent;
CAAC maintenance personnel license with English level 4;
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience in aviation related sector.
• Solid knowledge of avionics or aviation. Alternatively, experience on procurement, inventory control related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task.
• Good English and writing skills are required, a fluent level is preferred.
