YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for the planning and oversight of all maintenance requirements. You ensure continuous control of the airworthiness of the DHA fleet, coordinate and plan the rectification of deferred defects and scheduled maintenance, allocate work packages to contracted maintenance providers, and verify their completion and proper documentation. You make operational decisions while taking into account all safety, operational, and technical requirements.
- CAMO authority during shifts, overseeing and ensuring the airworthiness of the DHA fleet.
- Assign tail numbers in AIMS for defect rectification and scheduled tasks.
- Plan and coordinate all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements.
- Manage the deferral of defects and extensions for MELs.
- Coordinate with the DHA OCC to provide technical solutions and establish operational boundary conditions.
- Offer technical support to DHA flight crews, ensuring on-time departures with serviceable and well-maintained aircraft.
- Prepare work packs and collaborate with MROs to confirm planning capabilities.
- Work with logistics providers and maintenance stations to ensure all planned and unscheduled material requirements are met.
YOUR TASKS
- Active control of the airworthiness of the DHL Austria B767 fleet by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements by EASA and Austro Control.
- Planning and coordination of all maintenance requirements in alignment with the flight schedule to ensure operational availability to the DHL express network.
- Coordination and planning of all unscheduled maintenance in close alignment with contracted Part 145 organizations.
- Coordination with DHL Austria OCC and DHL network to find the best possible technical solutions for DHA aircraft in operations.
- Complex fault analysis and support of troubleshooting based on the OEM Fault Isolation Manual and operator experience.
- Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the DHL Austria flight crews in case of technical defects to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the DHL Austria managed fleet.
- Management of MEL and non-MEL defects and coordination with the MEL-Control Board.
- Planning of work packs for single running tasks and line maintenance events.
- Coordination of line maintenance events and support base maintenance events with the contracted Part 145 organization.
- Supports the safety department with investigations into safety-relevant occurrences.
- Alignment with the DHL Austria CAMO Engineering and Fleet Management to ensure the best possible support and reaction time for AOG situations.
- Reporting on the technical status of the fleet, AOG situations, and related communication with Technical Management and the DHL Network.
- Participation in projects for continuous improvement of the DHL Austria CAMO organization.
- Keep MIS updated (defects, WO status and parts booking).
YOUR PROFILE
- 5 years of relevant work experience of which at least 2 years should be in a comparable position.
- Preferable to hold an EASA B1 or B2 or A license (or national equivalent) with a B767 type rating or have experience in the MOC/MCC role or as certifying staff in Line/Base Maintenance.
- English language proficiency and strong communication skills.
- Sound understanding of flight operations and maintenance processes and procedures.
- Familiar with Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition and related manuals and procedures.
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
- Innovative in finding solutions and ability to think outside the box.
- Coordinate and organize with a systematic approach.
- Ability to work in teams and willingness to work in shifts and on weekends.
- Social and communication competencies in an open and communicative work environment.
- Motivated, flexible and reliable with a CAN DO attitude.
- IT system application knowledge, e.g. TRAX, AMOS, AIMS, Netline, Microsoft O365, PowerBI.
- EU citizenship or valid residence and work permit for Austria

- For this roles, we offer a competitive minimum gross salary of €3,502 based on full-time employment with the possibility of an adjusted salary depending on your experience and qualification.

- This position is initially offered as a fixed-term contract for a duration of two years, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent contract.
