Job Purpose
Responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, repairs, and calibration of flight simulators, including Airbus and Boeing simulators. The role ensures the airworthiness, functionality, and reliability of simulators in line with aviation regulations, safety standards, and maintenance procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Simulator Maintenance & Engineering
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system checks on flight simulators.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in simulator systems, avionics, and components.
- Work closely with technical teams and vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and maintenance standards.
- Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to minimise failures and maintain consistent performance.
- Work with the training department to integrate relevant emergency scenarios into simulator training.
- Carry out simulator calibration checks and maintain calibration records.
- Coordinate with maintenance and technical departments to ensure communication and knowledge sharing.
- Identify technical discrepancies and escalate promptly to the Manager – Simulator Maintenance.
Team Management
- Lead and manage the simulator maintenance team to meet functional and organisational goals.
- Build a motivated team, ensure right skill alignment, and promote positive team culture.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Engineering or related field
- Relevant experience in an airline operational environment
- Appropriate DGCA license (preferred)
- 6+ years experience in simulator training and maintenance
Desired Experience
- Prior experience as Simulator Engineer for Airbus and Boeing simulators
- Extensive knowledge of airline/airport operations and aviation industry
