Reports To
Regional Manager, Sales (ASEAN)
Role Purpose
To support sales team in initiatives, promotions and marketing activities to achieve revenue targets.
Key Accountability
- Responsible for all commercial activities within Indochina region.
- Working together with management to develop corporate sales plans and strategies in order to generate new revenue streams for station.
- Monitor performance of stations / agents / corporate clients / analyze and take action in order to achieve POS target.
- Responsible for the compilation and on-time submission of yearly budget for the station /region.
- Achieve targeted business objectives congruent with the Sales & Marketing plan especially the monthly and yearly revenue target for the whole Indochina region.
- Update and be involved in developing competitive products and services in the market.
- Formulate and execute business plans and strategies and ensure improve Company's performance by achieving station revenue target with profitability and revenue target with allocated budget for operational usage.
- Understand and familiarize every aspect and activity of the business to provide direction and effective decision making at all levels of planning and operations for Stations.
- Ensure adherence and compliance to all statutory and legal requirement for the operation of business for MAB.
- Assists Regional Manager monitor the stations performance.
Qualifications & Working Experience
Degree in Business/Tourism/Airline/Aviation Management and other related fields of study with Sales & Marketing experience at least 4 - 6 years in Travel or Airline Industry and/or 2 - 3 years of experience in Sales & Marketing.
Skills & Knowledge
- Sales & Business Development, Strategic Negotiation, Account Management, Sales Planning, Competitive Analysis, Market Planning & Positioning, Public Speaking & Business presentation, Strategic Sourcing of Potential Clients, Sales Strategies Implementation.
- Must have the ability to communicate well both orally and in writing English and local language.
- Friendly, guest focused with good problem solving skills.
- Able to perform under pressure to meet last minute arrangement.
Key Challenges
- To promote MH as a preferred airline for 5th / 6th freedom travel beyond Indonesia region, and increase market share for core routes and premium first and business class traffic.
- Have a good PR skill with agents and commercial houses & Indonesia regions under his /her preview.
- Strong analytical skills, business acumen and problem solving.
