What’s The Role All About?
- The App Product Sr. Specialist / Officer is responsible for supporting the strategic development, enhancement, and performance optimization of Philippine Airlines' mobile application. Reporting directly to the App Product Manager, this role ensures seamless execution of app-related initiatives, assisting in feature development, performance tracking, and cross-functional coordination. The App Product Sr. Specialist / Officer will help drive user engagement, conversion, and retention to ensure the app remains competitive within the aviation industry.
The Responsibilities:
Product Execution and Support
- Assist in the implementation of the Philippine Airlines mobile app roadmap.
- Support the development and testing of new app features and enhancements.
User Experience and Customer Engagement
- Gather user feedback to improve the mobile app’s experience.
- Monitor app usability and provide insights for UI/UX improvements.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Track app performance metrics such as downloads, retention, and user engagement.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the App Product Manager.
Feature Development and Innovation
- Assist in researching and benchmarking new technologies and features.
- Support the implementation of app updates and releases.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with IT, marketing, customer service, and operations teams for app-related initiatives.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors, agencies, and developers.
App Store and Market Optimization
- Assist in managing app store listings, metadata updates, and marketing assets.
- Monitor user reviews and ratings, providing recommendations for improvements.
Compliance and Security
- Support compliance efforts related to data privacy, cybersecurity, and aviation regulations.
- Assist in implementing security best practices within the app ecosystem.
Testing and Quality Assurance
- Participate in app testing and troubleshooting before releases.
- Identify and document bugs and issues, coordinating with the development team for resolution.
