Position Summary
This is a current need for a CNC Machine Operator at the PARKER HANNIFIN AUTOCLAVE location in Erie, Pa.
Position Summary:
Operate CNC equipment. Would be operating CNC machines such as lathes and mills, etc. Would be reading and making parts from prints and be able to use all measuring tools and instruments.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Load programs and follow set up sheets
- Review engineering drawings for tooling required
- Basic set up and machine operation
- Inspect each part against drawings to ensure accuracy and finishes
- Maintain equipment and clean work area
- Handle all other duties as requested by management
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Ability to understand and read programming code preferred
- Basic knowledge of CNC machine techniques
- Tooling and precision machining experience preferred
- Ability to operate multiple machines
- Ability to perform manual math calculation
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to read and understand complex drawings preferred
- Ability to perform job duties with supervision
