Johnson Service Group (JSG), a nationally recognized recruiting firm is currently seeking CNC Machinists for a manufacturer in Ladson, supporting the aerospace industry.
Shift Information:
- Training on 1st shift (Mon - Fri, 7:00am - 3:30pm)
- Once training is completed, the employee will be moved to 2nd or 3rd shift. A $1.00/hr shift differential will be paid. At a minimum, a month's notice will be provided.
- 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm, Mon - Fri)
- 3rd shift (11:00pm to 7:30am Sunday - Friday)
- Additional increases available as you complete various levels of on-the-job training.
Responsibilities:
- Working from layouts and dimensions on drawings and reading manual gauges
- Load, align, and set up machines per drawing instructions and maintain quality production records.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass pre-employment checks (drug testing, background and visual exam)
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior machining background in set-up and operation of CNC lathes and mills is required, or a graduate of any recognized machinist or toolmaker program.
- Must be able to read blueprints.
- Possess strong math skills (decimal conversion and geometry).
- Able to use hand tools and gauges.
- Will be required to complete a standard company-specific mechanical skills assessment.
- Dependable with an eager attitude and willingness to learn
- Maintain consistency and take pride in your work
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and enjoys troubleshooting
