$160K.Sr. Electrical Engineer Description
- Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for commercial, industrial, municipal and healthcare facilities.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, field surveys to support design and construction phases.
- Preparation of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams and load calculations.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and other team members.
- Review of submittals and RFIs during construction administration
- Serve as Project Engineer and Project Manager on smaller, less complex projects
- Use engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e. Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD)
- Capable of leading a team of engineers and working independently with little guidance.
The ideal candidate possesses the below additional experience;
- 10+ years of Electrical Design experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Understanding of NEC, NFPA & IEEE codes and standards
- Experience with sustainable design and LEED-certified projects preferred
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking and an ability to work independently
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering Required
