Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and oversee line maintenance activities during the shift, ensuring alignment with the maintenance plan.
- Track and assess aircraft fleet status, identifying potential AOG situations through close coordination with Operations, support departments, and the Approved Maintenance Organization.
- Manage deferred defects and MEL/CDL items, monitoring recurring issues and their rectification progress.
- Provide real-time updates to the Network Control Center (NCC) Operations Team, informing them of emerging defects and maintenance concerns, along with their impact on operations and aircraft limitations.
- Evaluate maintenance activities on line aircraft, liaising with maintenance providers to assess operational risks and recommend actions if flight disruptions are imminent.
Qualifications
- Must hold a degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related engineering field
- Must have a valid work visa or legal authorization to work in the Philippines
- Minimum of six (6) years’ experience as an Engineer A in Line and Base Maintenance, or as a Line Mechanic A
- Must be familiar with typical fleet technical management systems such as AIMS, AMOS, etc. and proficient using Airbus troubleshooting systems, particularly AIRMAN.
- Prior experience as a Maintenance Controller is an advantage
- PRC Aeronautical Engineer License is preferred
