Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components for landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
You will perform various operations related to metallurgical processes on landing gear components. More specifically, you will be required to:
- prepare and assemble parts,
- carry out heat treatment or shot peening operations,
- conduct laboratory tests (hardness, tensile, saturation),
- perform inspections using non-destructive testing (magnetic particle inspection and/or dye penetrant testing)
- detect and resolve technical issues,
- conduct visual inspections to ensure compliance with specifications,
- complete the appropriate Quality Assurance documentation,
- contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and the achievement of safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery objectives.
Requirements

- College studies in metallurgy (DEC or AEC) or DEP in foundry, DEP in mechanical assembly in aerospace or structural assembly in aerospace, DEP in welding-assembly or equivalent experience as a metallurgy operator
