Essential Position Functions:
· Ensure safe and secure operations, in accordance with the health, safety, security and all government statutory requirements.
· Communicate with customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
· Provide accurate information to Management and Cargo Movement Control.
· Maintain and enforce company procedures relating to the workplace (attendance, uniforms, equipment operation, safety).
· Delegate responsibilities of Ramp activities & oversee performance and productivity.
· Ability to collaborate with peers, internal partners and external customers to offer them an excellent customer service journey.
· Provide direction to Ramp staff in order to maintain on-time performance of all flight and truck departures.
· Create a positive customer experience while meeting Customer and company standards pertaining to quality of work performance.
· Provide leadership, motivation and direction to staff, as well as train and develop new staff.
· Maintain & improve operations by suggesting time/cost saving ideas and operational strategies.
· Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School Diploma, Post-Secondary education in an Aviation related of Management program would be an asset.
· Minimum 3 years experience in the air cargo industry.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must be detail-oriented and have good organizational skills.
· Must be reliable and have strong work ethic.
· Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
· Must possess a valid Driver’s license.
· Must be able to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
