The Station Manager is responsible for leading airport operation, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant service. Acting as the company's on-site representative, you will manage staff, resources, budgets, and operational standards to deliver excellent customer service and meet performance targets.
Location: Southampton Airport
Reports to: Head of Ground Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all station staff, including rostering, recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
- Oversee ground operations, passenger services, cargo, and ramp activities, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Manage budgets and supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
- Monitor operational performance, identify solutions to incidents, and implement new procedures.
- Ensure high-quality customer service, health & safety compliance, and staff motivation.
- Represent the company with senior stakeholders and external suppliers.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in airline or aviation management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Flexible, organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
- Level 5 in Management and Leadership.
- Valid Driving Licence.
