We are seeking a Digital & IT Senior Analyst to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade analytics solutions that power data-driven decision-making across Parker Hannifin’s global operations. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to architect scalable semantic models, build high-impact dashboards, and establish best practices for governance, performance, and adoption. This role blends hands-on development with leadership, mentoring, and project delivery in a fast-paced, manufacturing-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Lead end-to-end complex and/or global enterprise data visualization and reporting project that encompasses requirements gathering, building data models, writing advanced DAX calculations, creating high-impact dashboards, communication and reporting to key stakeholders on status and project closure/delivery
Architect scalable semantic models and standardized KPIs; implement best practices for performance and reusability
Optimize and govern the BI ecosystem: incremental refresh, Hybrid/DirectQuery strategies, RLS/OLS, workspace/admin controls, and deployment pipelines with CI/CD.
Integrate and transform data in partnership with data engineers using SQL, Power Query/M, Dataflows, and Azure/Synapse/Fabric components
Drive adoption and reliability: training, documentation, KPI workshops, usage monitoring, SLAs, and production support
Performs system analysis, interprets data to identify gaps in technology or processes and makes recommendations within the IT and/or business function
Assists in the development, enhancement and implementation of new technologies/services including communication and reporting to key stakeholders on status and project closure.
Communicates decisions & formalize recommendations impacting area of responsibility to manager and business partners and key stakeholders where appropriate
Manages own priorities and provides direction, guidance and mentoring to team members
Delivers multiple solutions while managing conflicting priorities and resources
Conducts knowledge transfer and/or cross training with team members
Ability to travel as needed
Available to provide after-hours technical support as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related area (Or international equivalent)
4+ years of related IT experience
Expertise in writing advanced DAX calculation, building/optimizing complex models, and working with Power Query/M
Proficient in building and maintaining Power BI Dataflows
Strong SQL proficiency and familiarity with data warehousing concepts
Building and managing RLS/OLS, gateways, tenant/workspace admin, deployment pipelines with version control
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, manage priorities, and deliver results on time
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills; comfortable interfacing across all organizational levels
High attention to detail, problem-solving, learning agility, and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
Strong interpersonal skills, relates well with all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects effectively
Qualifications Preferred/Highly Desirable
6+ years of dedicated Power BI development with a strong track record of managing very large complex projects
Strong SQL proficiency and familiarity with data warehousing concepts; Knowledgeable in using Python
Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate)
Industry experience in manufacturing, supply chain, digital marketing (B2B industrial) or industrial operations (e.g., OEE, yield, scrap, on-time delivery, inventory turns)
Expertise in performance diagnostics and tuning models/reports
Familiarity with advanced analytics and ML concepts for augmented insights
Experience in Agile methodologies and can apply those processes to everyday work
