This position is dedicated to supporting business expansion: identifying new public safety market segments, gathering customer feedback, supporting the global community of business analysts and building the ecosystem of tomorrow.

Key responsibilities
Business Intelligence & Strategy
Market Analysis: Conduct market and business analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Support the preparation of business cases
Consolidate complex information into actionable items, comprehensive reports, and high-impact presentations.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate closely and act as a bridge between Business Analytics, Product Management, and Sales Teams.
Provide continuous, qualified feedback on market demands to our Portfolio Business Management teams.
Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from various stakeholders.
Customer & Ecosystem Management
Customer Needs Discovery: Proactively engage with current and potential customers to uncover latent pain points, translating their operational challenges into clear business requirements and value-driven solutions.
Startup and Partner Scouting: Research and identify innovative startups and tech companies for potential partnership or integration within our public safety ecosystem.
Network Building: Actively participate in industry events and innovation hubs to expand our professional network and brand presence.
Market Strategy & Growth
Business Opportunity Mapping: support in "Go-to-Market" analysis to identify untapped customer segments and new revenue streams.
Entrepreneurial Research: Design and drive autonomous qualitative research to validate new business models and value propositions.
Pitch Support: Assist in creating high-impact pitch decks and business cases for internal and external stakeholders.
What we expect from you
You possess an entrepreneurial mindset: you see problems as opportunities, have curiosity and drive to innovate, and you have the "grit" required to navigate a global corporate environment with the agility of a startup.
The duration of this trainee period is ~8 months and will start preferably in May. The position is full-time during summer months 2026 and part-time (at least 3 days a week) during other times.

Who do we see working in this trainee position?
Our trainee programme is aimed at those currently pursuing their studies at university or university of applied sciences. For this position, we hope that you pursue a Master's(M.Sc) or Bachelor degree in Business or Information Technology with valid student status throughout the duration of the employment.
Success in this role will be supported if you have the drive to develop commercial acumen, have interest in technology, along with broader ecosystem dynamics. We value an analytical and collaborative mindset, someone with strong problem-solving and organizational skills who can navigate the organizational literacy required to work within a global corporation while maintaining a "fail-fast" startup speed.
If you have experience in the following, it will be beneficial for this role:
Entrepreneurial Drive: Previous experience working within startups, participating in student societies, or launching your own independent projects.
Networking: A natural ability to build rapport and manage stakeholders ranging from technical founders to corporate executives.
Communication: Presenting complex data clearly and fluently in English
If you have already familiarized yourself with Google Workspace (specifically Sheets and Slides), or collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence, you'll have the opportunity to utilize these skills with us as you help bridge the gap between technical innovation and corporate strategy.
