The tasks of the GE/X purchasing department include the strategic development and performance management of Group-wide purchasing. This includes the development and implementation of procurement strategies and the management of purchasing clusters based on defined key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support in the conception and implementation of training and further education measures for purchasing
- Support in the further development of onboarding and knowledge transfer measures for purchasing
- Supporting internal procurement communication campaigns, events and the communication of procurement-relevant topics within the Lufthansa Group
- Support in the further development of the sustainability purchasing strategy and its implementation in the purchasing organization
- Support in the creation of the LHG purchasing strategy and in the adaptation and improvement of the annual category strategy process. Supporting the newly created function for negotiation excellence
Requirements
You are enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of compulsory internship must be enclosed with the application) or are completing a gap year between Bachelor's and Master's studies
- Good analytical skills and a talent for strategic thinking are among your strengths
- You are good with MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point, and ideally have already gained experience in creating presentations
- You can quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks and concepts
- You are a team player with very good communication and social skills
- You have very good language skills in German and English (written and spoken)
