Johnson Service Group is looking for a JSTD001 Assembly Operator with 1-3 years’ experience working in an Aerospace environment. This is a Temp job in the Valencia, CA area.
Pay Rate: $23.00 HRPosition Summary:
Interprets assembly blueprints, drawings, schematics and engineering specifications to build, calibrate and test electromechanical switches.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Hand soldering per J-STD-001
- Adjusts disc springs to required settings.
- Checks, synchronizes and tests products using a variety of hand tools (i.e. screwdrivers and pliers) and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gages and dial indicators to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Ordinary care and attention must be exercised to prevent damage of components, tools and equipment
- Ordinary care and attention is required to prevent injury to others due to operation of high-pressure vessels.
Position Requirements:
- Able to Hand Solder per J-STD-001
- Able to read pressure gauges.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of basic math.
- Ability to read, speak and write in English, follow verbal and written instructions.
- A moderate amount of concentration is required involving coordination of mental processes and physical responses.
