JOB DESCRIPTION
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements:
• European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old
• Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any

The contract duration of VIE is between 12 to 24 months.
OUR MISSION
Under the leadership of Head of Region and Head of Regional Business Growth, our team manages transverse, group-wide topics like the definition and drumbeating of the Europe region’s strategy. In essence, it is in charge of:
Coordinating business development, government affairs, and international cooperation, to support Airbus and its three divisions acquire business;
Drumbeating the group's One Roof principle, working closely with the main support functions to integrate the three divisions’ wherever possible through the nomination of ACRs, colocation, legal entity optimization, and the implementation of shared services locally across divisions; and
Building long term strategies, both at the country-level and regional one, to support Airbus three divisions and its the group’s priorities
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the Europe region, we are looking for a Volontaire International en Entreprise (VIE) to join our Warsaw team, reporting to the Airbus Country Representative in Poland. Working closely with the Regional Business Growth team, he would help Airbus’Defence and Space, assisting in the research and identification of potential external growth opportunities in the local ecosystem, including possible acquisitions of Polish firms or technologies;
Supporting the development of relationships with high-potential Polish companies and/or universities to build potential technological partnerships;
Facilitating communication and information gathering between internal functions to support their respective objectives in the country, and helping to compile data on headcount and skills requirements to aid in building a Digital and Cyber Hub in Poland;
Providing project support to the teams working to integrate Polish industry into relevant European defense cooperation programs for Airbus Helicopters and Airbus Defence and Space;
Keeping Airbus’ top management informed of all the project’s major milestones by producing relevant documentation for the ACR and Regional Business Growth team;
and more.
YOUR BOARDING PASS
The ideal candidate should have:
Education: Master's degree in Political Science, International Relations, European Affairs, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience: Previous internship or professional experience in external affairs, public relations, or a similar field, preferably within an international environment or a large corporation
A considerate and collaborative spirit, being able to set aside their ego to work as a team, while also demonstrating strong project management capabilities to ensure collective accountability and that deadlines are met;
Excellent interpersonal and team building skills to grow alongside the rest of the team;
A detailed-oriented mindset with a strong capacity for accountability, in particular in keeping up in a fast-paced environment with numerous competing priorities;
A positive mindset and can-do attitude, willing to take on a new challenge and learn new things;
A proficient, fluent level in English, including strong writing skills. Good knowledge of Polish would be considered a strong asset, and some knowledge of another European language would be a valued plus.

NOTRE MISSION
Sous la direction du Head of Region et du Head of Regional Business Growth, notre équipe gère des sujets transverses, à l'échelle du groupe, tels que la définition et le suivi rigoureux de la stratégie de la région Europe. Elle est essentiellement en charge de :
Coordonner le développement commercial, les affaires gouvernementales et la coopération internationale pour soutenir Airbus et ses trois divisions dans l'acquisition d'affaires ;
Mettre en œuvre le principe "One Roof" du groupe, en travaillant étroitement avec les principales fonctions support (finances, achats, communications, ressources humaines, sécurité...) pour intégrer les trois divisions chaque fois que possible à travers la nomination de Représentants Nationaux (ACR), la colocation, l'optimisation des entités légales et la mise en place de services partagés localement entre les divisions ; et
Élaborer des stratégies à long terme, tant au niveau national que régional, pour soutenir les trois divisions d'Airbus et les priorités du groupe.
VOS RESPONSABILITES
Au sein de la région Europe, nous recherchons un Volontaire International en Entreprise (VIE) pour rejoindre notre équipe à Varsovie, sous la responsabilité du Représentant National d'Airbus en Pologne. En étroite collaboration avec l'équipe Regional Business Growth, il/elle aidera les trois divisions d'Airbus – Avions Commerciaux, Défense et Espace, et Hélicoptères – à se développer dans le pays conformément à la stratégie nationale globale du groupe pour la Pologne, notamment en :
Participant à la recherche et à l'identification d'opportunités potentielles de croissance externe dans l'écosystème local, y compris les acquisitions possibles de sociétés ou de technologies polonaises ;
Soutenant le développement de relations avec des entreprises et/ou universités polonaises à fort potentiel pour établir des partenariats technologiques potentiels ;
Facilitant la communication et la collecte d'informations entre les fonctions internes pour soutenir leurs objectifs respectifs dans le pays, et aidant à compiler des données sur les effectifs et les exigences en matière de compétences pour aider à la création d'un Hub Numérique et Cyber en Pologne ;
Fournissant un soutien au projet aux équipes travaillant à l'intégration de l'industrie polonaise dans les programmes européens de coopération en matière de défense pertinents pour Airbus Helicopters et Airbus Defence and Space ;
Tenant la haute direction d'Airbus informée de toutes les étapes majeures du projet en produisant la documentation pertinente pour l'ACR et l'équipe Regional Business Growth ; et plus encore.

Le candidat idéal devra posséder les qualifications suivantes :
- Formation : Master en sciences politiques, relations internationales, affaires européennes, communication, administration des affaires ou domaine connexe.
- Expérience : Stage ou expérience professionnelle préalable en affaires extérieures, relations publiques ou domaine similaire, de préférence au sein d’un environnement international ou d’une grande entreprise.
- Un esprit collaboratif et bienveillant, capable de travailler en équipe et de faire preuve d’excellentes compétences en gestion de projet afin de garantir la responsabilité collective et le respect des délais.
- D’excellentes aptitudes relationnelles et un fort esprit d’équipe pour évoluer avec les autres membres.
- Un souci du détail et un sens aigu des responsabilités, notamment pour gérer efficacement les priorités multiples et dynamiques.
- Un état d’esprit positif et proactif, avec la volonté de relever de nouveaux défis et d’apprendre.
- Une excellente maîtrise de l’anglais, à l’écrit comme à l’oral. La connaissance du polonais serait un atout considérable, et la connaissance d’une autre langue européenne serait un plus.
