THE WORK
We are seeking an Associate Program Manager to join the Maritime Integrated Air & Missile Defense (MIAMD) organization. This role will be responsible for the leadership, execution and financial management of LM contract(s) for Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Flight Test and Ground Test activities across multiple baselines. As the Ballistic Missile Defense (BMDS) Flight Test/Ground Test Program Manager, you’ll be the primary representative for Lockheed Martin with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), collaborating closely with the MDA customer to define and successfully execute Flight Test and Ground Test events. You’ll oversee the financial performance of concurrent efforts, including Flight Test / Ground Test Pre-mission, Execution and Post-mission phases, ensuring we meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements. Your role includes a strong partnership with various MDA program management teams and internal organizations to align resources and deliver contractual commitments on cost and schedule.
Additionally, this position will include regular customer and LM senior management reviews, coordination with suppliers and with all LM functional areas and forward site locations as Flight Tests and Ground Tests are conducted.

Desired Skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and ability to manage multiple simultaneous program efforts.
- Prior experience working with US military customer and stakeholders with demonstrated performance in building strong relationships
- Knowledge of procedures for preparation and development of proposals.

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
