In order to support the Team Aircraft Systems within Customer Services, Airbus is looking for two positions as
Technical Data Engineer (d/f/m)
In this position, you are part of the operational unit “Technical Data in Customer Services”. Your main mission is todeliver the complete documentation at aircraft entry into service and to maintain it all along the aircraft life cycle.
You are in charge of developing and delivering aircraft maintenance and material documentation to enable the safety and efficiency of maintenance operations by the customer.
You are responsible for delivering content e.g. for the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC).

Your tasks and responsibilities
You manage and coordinate technical data authoring activities, including the definition and validation of the manual content is part of your job.
You manage and answer customer queries providing prompt and efficient support to the customer is one of your responsibilities.
You proactively identify, mitigate and follow up blocking points as well as you constantly assess your manual content in terms of quality assurance.
You act as an interface between technical data, the airline customers and all the other Airbus internal contributors (Design Office, Programs, Delivery Center, other Customer Services units, etc.).
You participate in internal, external and transnational projects to improve our products and our processes.
Desired skills and qualifications
Educated Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or similar or a completed technical apprenticeship (e.g. in aviation sector) with appropriate further training/education.
Previous experience working in direct contact with the customer and with tight deadlines is a plus Experience in Data analytics, programming tools (e.g. Python), 3D tools (e.g. CATIA, 3D Juump) is a plus.
Experience in Project Management is a plus.

English at B2 level is required; German at a minimum level of A2/B1 is preferred.
Willingness to undertake irregular business travel within Europe.
