Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic is an important position in the Technical Operations department and will be integral to building up the team’s capabilities as we move through Norse's start-up phase ready for take-off in 2022. Joining Norse at this early phase means you will be heavily involved in the shaping of the Company’s operational capabilities. As Norse grows and evolves you can expect to have the opportunity to get involved in different tasks, including more responsibility and promotion opportunities, within the Operations team. The position will report to Production Manager
Responsibilities and duties
Perform maintenance tasks on the Norse Boeing 787 Fleet and other Airline Customers
Ensure that the completed tasks are being recorded correctly onto the worksheets and the time recording is accurate
Ensure the allocated task is complete with the allotted time scales
Maintaining facilities to an acceptable standard.
Ensure the effective completion of any dele-gated tasks during maintenance activities
To ensure that a safe and just culture is encouraged in the workplace.
Perform day to day station work
Required qualifications and certifications
Experience from Line Maintenance or Base Maintenance activity, preferred on Boeing 787
Clean criminal record, resident five years or more in an EU or EFTA state
Preferred:
AMOS Experience
Hold a EASA Part 66 is preferred, but not a requirement
Document studies from a approved P-147 organization
Hold a “certificate of apprenticeship” (fagbrev) within Aircraft systemstructures or Avionics
