Your day-to-day responsibilities
- Load and unload the parts to the washer or to the assembly table
- Assemble components in accordance with standard procedure and/or work order instructions.
- Report shortages and defects in materials or equipment to direct supervisor.
- Utilize various hand tools, specialty tools, lifting devices, and basic measuring equipment to complete assigned tasks.
- Performs visual inspection of parts and reviews basic blueprints/diagrams to ensure components are being manufactured in accordance with the part specification.
Who are we looking for
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Preferred 6 months prior professional experience as related to this role.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and complete tasks.
- Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player
Ideally, you will also have
- Ability to perform the required duties in accordance safety guidelines and lean principles by complying with all safety procedures and all company policies. Preferred
- Ability to actively participates in company-sponsored training programs.
- Ability to deal ethically with Parker’s customers, suppliers, fellow associates and the general public.
