The Team
Revenue Accounting is a critical part of easyJet’s financial operations, responsible for accounting for around £9bn revenue and overseeing new revenue business initiatives. The team consists of six members and plays a vital role in executing financial control over key O2C processes.
The Role
As Senior Finance Manager – Accounting and Controls, you’ll report into the Head of Financial Transactions and work closely with business leads across easyJet. You’ll manage and review the revenue accounting cycle, including revenue recognition, book-keeping, financial reporting and compliance.
You’ll deliver planning and financial management for the Revenue Accounting team, inspire and develop colleagues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess new business propositions and lead on implementation feasibility.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition in line with IFRS
- Leading external audits and ensuring compliance with group governance controls
- Driving process improvements and supporting system implementations (including ERP)
- Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, analysing revenue data, and reporting findings to senior management
- Leading change and improvement projects, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and educating the wider business on best practice
- Providing leadership, management and development to the team, ensuring capability for current and future business needs
What We’re Looking For
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience
- High level of IT literacy (Excel, VBA, SQL)
- Extensive experience leading transactional teams and interpreting complex processes
- Strong attention to detail and practical accounting judgement
- Proven ability in talent management, organisational design, and development
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to engage at all levels
- Track record of delivery and meeting deadlines
- Proactive, solutions-focused team player

Practicalities
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
