Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a world leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major landing gear components for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
Responsibilities
- Act as a reference for your operational team on quality topics:
- Raise awareness of fundamental quality principles and procedures
- Assist the team in resolving quality issues using the OPR methodology (Operational Problem Resolution), 8D analyses, and handling dysfunctions
- Following Quality events, guide the team in updating FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- Conduct analyses and lead committees to help the operational team improve its quality performance
- Participate in contingency follow-up and identify the root cause of quality issues (customer complaints, rejected parts, etc.) and implement the action plan
- Conduct mini-audits of your sector and manage non-conformities resulting from these audits
- Participate in various projects and advise the manager
- When implementing new equipment, ensure that the required tests are performed as defined in the procedure,
- Conduct follow-ups and performance measurements
Requirements
Let's talk about you
- University degree in Quality Assurance or another relevant discipline
- 5 years of experience in quality assurance in the aerospace industry
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of quality assurance systems and ISO or AS/EN standards.
- Strong problem-solving techniques
- Knowledge of statistics
- Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, including machining
- Very good command of MS Office applications
- Bilingualism
