The Team
You’ll join our Gatwick team, reporting to the Head of Operations – Gatwick, and play a central role within our Operations Function. You’ll be at the heart of easyJet’s Gatwick operation, accountable for the daily success of our operations plan and acting as the focal point for all easyJet Gatwick intelligence and decision making.
The Role
As Gatwick Duty Operations Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our flagship base, handling over 25,000 customers each day. You’ll work closely with Gatwick Airport, our Ground Handling and Airport partners, and easyJet’s ICC to deliver and continuously improve our daily flying programme.
Responsibilities
You’ll be the single and senior easyJet operations representative at Gatwick, accountable for the stability and success of our operation. Your responsibilities will include:
> Owning and evolving our A-CDM performance, ensuring timelines and flight plans are met and exceeded
> Maintaining and developing the library of LGW SOPs with third parties and ICC, ensuring standards are understood and followed
> Driving a culture of continuous improvement through analysis, feedback, and confident communication at all levels
> Identifying and mitigating future operational risks, leading easyJet’s approach to co-ordinate inputs and deploy solutions
> Representing easyJet at daily briefings, clearly articulating our focus and requirements to internal and external stakeholders
> Providing bronze crisis response coverage, leading tactical responses to major disruption and making quick, confident decisions for the benefit of our customers
What We’re Looking For
> Significant experience in airline or airport operations, with strong system and regulatory knowledge
> Ability to rapidly assess impact and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
> Experience working in a lean environment, using structured problem solving and operational improvement methods
> Strong communication skills, able to translate complex information for different audiences
> Demonstrable leadership through empowerment, inspiring others to act in the best interests of our customers
> Ability to obtain an airside ID pass (5 years CRC and references)

Practicalities
This shift-based role will be based in London Gatwick. The role will be rostered to ensure 24/7 coverage of the Gatwick operation.
