We are on the lookout for an experienced and innovative
Senior Data Scientist. This role involves owning and leading complex data analysis initiatives, developing and deploying machine learning models, and shaping data-driven solutions that directly support pricing and commercial decision-making, while guiding junior members of the team.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models and algorithms, from problem framing to deployment and monitoring, including refining our Revenue Management System's algorithms.
- Analyze complex datasets, extract insights, and provide data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.
- Guide and mentor Junior Data Scientists through code reviews, technical design discussions, and hands-on coaching.
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to uncover data science applications to solve complex business problems.
- Contribute to the evolution of data visualization practices, defining best practices to clearly communicate insights.
- Play a key role in shaping the future of the company through data-driven innovations.
- Ensure robustness, scalability, and maintainability of models deployed in production.
Requirements
- Master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a strong portfolio of projects.
- Expert knowledge of SQL, Python, and machine learning libraries.
- Extensive experience in building predictive models and algorithms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team and guide junior members.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience or interest in Pricing topics is highly desirable.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools, with the ability to define standards and best practices.
- Experience with VCS (e.g. GitHub) are nice-to-have.
