Job Title: Composite Design Engineer
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical, Product Design Engineering, or similar
Location: Kanpur, India
Roles And Responsibilities
- Generate CAD models and detailed drawing definitions in relevant design software.
- Design mould tools, jigs, and fixtures for composite manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain design standards, product specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production integration.
- Conduct FEA and CFD simulations for structural and thermal performance.
- Analyze failure mechanisms and implement improvements.
- Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise.
- Support the transition from design to production phases.

✔ Design documentation for quality assurance
Skills Required
- Experience in UAV platform and tool design, including GD&T, BOM, and FMEA.
- Knowledge of composite structure design and failure mechanisms.
- Proficiency with FEA/CFD tools.
- Familiarity with UAV development processes.
- Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Product Design Engineering.
- 3–5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in UAV, Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, or Marine sectors.
- Hands-on experience in composite design and simulations.
- Awareness of UAV certification and regulatory requirements is a plus.
