Position Summary
The Senior Executive, Offline Market & Sales plays a key role in supporting the execution of sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth across offline markets and points of sale (POS), including travel agents and interline partners. Responsibilities include supporting day-to-day sales activities, managing administrative tasks, preparing sales reports, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure the smooth implementation of offline sales initiatives.
In addition, the position involves maintaining strong relationships with key partners, responding to business inquiries, and supporting the development and rollout of promotional campaigns targeted at offline channels. This role is essential to ensuring efficient offline sales operations while contributing to the achievement of the company’s overall sales objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the Manager, Offline Market & Sales in developing and implementing sales strategies aimed at driving revenue growth across offline markets and sales channels, including identifying key markets and customer segments.
- Assist in tracking and monitoring revenue targets and KPIs for offline markets and sales, and support initiatives to achieve or exceed agreed targets.
- Prepare, analyse, and present offline sales performance, including key metrics such as revenue, market share, and sales trends, using internal reporting tools (e.g. Power BI and Microsoft Excel).
- Promote and sell Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) products and services to customers and partners within the assigned market or territory.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including travel agents, interline partners, and internal sales teams.
- Assist in managing contracts for current and new GSAs, with a key role focused on reviewing, summarising, and consistently updating contracts when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and Operations to support seamless execution of offline sales activities and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Support the management of offline market development projects and provide assistance on ad-hoc activities and initiatives as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales support, sales operations, or an administrative role within the airline or travel industry, demonstrating strong sales, communication, and analytical skills
