Your Mission and responsibilties
In this role, you'll manage development projects in the Cabin Electronic portfolio. You'll take ownership of stakeholder management and provide the support our development teams need to deliver on time, on quality, and on cost. You will also ensure that all product lifecycle factors-including production, maintenance, and the supply chain-are optimized. Your ultimate goal is to ensure Airbus Buxtehude delivers highly competitive, mature, and end-to-end optimized products.
The Team
You'll join a team of enthusiastic project managers who truly care about the products they oversee. We're the Engineering Project and Product Managers in Engineering Buxtehude, a group of supportive individuals from all sorts of backgrounds. Because of our central position, you'll have frequent opportunities to interact with both engineering and site management, allowing you to easily report on your progress and get the right support for any risks.
Our teams are organized into
product-focused clusters. When you join us, you'll become part of one of these tight-knit groups, giving you the benefit of close, day-to-day interaction and collaboration with your colleagues.
About You
- You're a great fit if you're passionate about this job and have an affinity for technical topics.
- Experience in hardware and/or software development projects as well as your project management skills remain non-negotiable.
- You're a continuous learner who is eager to improve processes, and a big plus is your enthusiasm for using AI to enhance the ways of working.
- You can explain complex matters simply, enabling you to communicate effectively with both management and your team.
- As a natural leader, you're a people person who can manage conflicts, motivate your team, and take ownership of challenges until they're resolved.
