Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary LMS Administrator to support our Learning Management System (LMS) operations. Working 8–16 hours per week, the LMS Administrator will ensure the seamless delivery of online learning programs, assist in troubleshooting issues, and maintain the integrity of our learning systems. This is a flexible, part-time position ideal for candidates with prior experience in managing LMS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- LMS Management
- Administer and maintain the organization's LMS, ensuring smooth functionality.
- Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.
- Upload and organize training content, assessments, and resources.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure uploaded content is formatted correctly and compatible with the LMS.
- Make recommendations of course and program formatting.
- Other Duties
- Assist the Organizational Development & Training Manager as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience:
- Prior experience as an LMS Administrator or in a related role (e.g., HR, L&D, or IT support).
- Familiarity with common LMS platforms (e.g., Workday Learning, Cornerstone, Moodle, Canvas, SAP Litmos, or similar).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and basic data management.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, including browser or software compatibility.
- Understanding of eLearning formats (e.g., SCORM, AICC, xAPI) is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with a team.
- Education (Preferred):
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Education, IT, Business, or HR).
- Equivalent certifications or experience will also be considered.
