Summary
A Director of Product Delivery provides operational leadership across Allegiant’s product and delivery functions, ensuring teams execute company priorities with clarity, predictability, and measurable business impact. This role unites Product Managers, IT Program Managers, Business Analysts, and Scrum Masters into a cohesive delivery model.
The Director builds and supports transformation teams within each value stream, aligning people, processes, and structures to meet current and future needs. This position makes sound operational decisions, contributes to functional strategy, and advances delivery maturity across the department. Additionally, the role reinforces Allegiant’s culture through strong team engagement, inclusive leadership, and the consistent development of people and processes.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Certification: SAFe / Scaled Agile certification (e.g., SPC, PAL, PMI-ACP, or equivalent)
Years of Experience:
Minimum 10 (ten) years of experience in product management, program management, project management, or enterprise delivery.
Minimum 5 (five) years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams with operational execution responsibility.
•Experience contributing to functional strategy and driving department-level improvements.
•Proven background managing portfolios, risks, dependencies, and cross-team coordination.
•Experience working with engineering, operations, and business partners in an agile environment.
•Demonstrated capability to build team competencies and lead organizations through change.
•Strong understanding of product strategy, delivery frameworks, and lifecycle management.
•Ability to develop and mature cross-functional delivery teams and operating models across value streams.
•Expertise in portfolio planning, resource alignment, and improving delivery predictability.
•Effective communication and influence skills with executives, partners, and technical teams.
•Ability to identify system-wide risks and lead cross-functional teams through resolution.
•Experience managing vendor relationships and ensuring performance and accountability.
•High emotional intelligence, with a focus on culture-building, coaching, and inclusive leadership.
•Ability to balance business value, customer needs, and technical considerations in decision-making.
Job Duties
•Provide operational leadership to Product Managers, IT Program Managers, Business Analysts, and Scrum Masters across multiple value streams.
•Build and support transformation teams by aligning roles, processes, and delivery structures with business priorities
•Review product and delivery portfolio health, manage risks, and make operational decisions to maintain alignment between strategy and execution.
•Partner with engineering, operations, commercial, and corporate teams on resourcing, sequencing, and cross-team dependencies.
•Maintain portfolio-level visibility, including progress, risks, financial impacts, and major milestones.
•Coach teams on product practices, planning, customer insights, and requirements quality.
•Work with vendors and partners to ensure accountability, alignment, and predictable delivery.
•Identify system-level issues and lead cross-functional problem-solving to prevent disruptions.
•Strengthen delivery processes to improve predictability, transparency, and throughput.
•Foster an engaged, inclusive, and high-performing team environment aligned with Allegiant’s values.
•Ensure any direct reports understand and apply our Customer Commitment and customer service standards.
•Model Allegiant's customer service standards in personal actions and leadership direction.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
