In order to support the Site Engineering, Airbus Aerostructures is looking for a
Engineering Change Manager (d/f/m).
Mission
In your role as
Engineering Change Manager (d/f/m) for WideBody and SingleAisle, you are responsible
End-to-End (E2E) for leading Change Projects through the Airbus Change Process. You act as the representative for the Hamburg Site Engineering team and other departments within Airbus Aerostructures Engineering. This applies to changes across all programs and includes the creation and tracking of relevant documents for
Change Requests (CR) and
Modification Proposal (MP) dossiers. Your responsibility spans the entire path from the Kick-Off Board, through the Maturity Board and Decision Board, to ensuring final
MOD Closure.
Your location

Responsibilities
You ensure that all required engineering data is provided throughout the complete Airbus Change Process within the specified time, process, and reporting guidelines:
- Coordination: Manage the volume of changes (CRs, studies, etc.) for the Airframe/CPD perimeter.
- Transparency: Provide full visibility across the entire process path.
- Documentation: Create new Change Requests (CR) and dossiers for Modification Proposals (MP) for the Airframe sector in the official Airbus change management applications (ICC-ACP).
- Synergy Management: Identify and ensure synergies between different changes.
- Risk Management: Capture and track risks, ensuring that mitigation measures are defined.
- Representation: Prepare, present, and advocate for CRs before the relevant decision-making bodies (CCB, JCB, etc.) in the interest of the Airframe/CPD sector.
- Information Management: Take responsibility for providing all relevant information for a change process (costs, potential part impacts, clear before-and-after descriptions, schedules, etc.).
- PCL Support: Support the Product Change Leader (PCL) throughout the Airbus Change Process (CM/PM).
- Planning: Coordinate and create schedules through to MOD Closure with the PCL CPD team and all other relevant stakeholders (Program, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Customer Services, etc.) necessary for successful implementation (including aligning target dates of supporting departments with required board deadlines).
- Stakeholder Alignment: Coordinate the scope of changes with all affected stakeholders along the change process (including transnational coordination where required).
- Process Development: Contribute to shaping the change process within the context of Airbus Operations GmbH, Airbus Atlantic S.A.S., and Airbus Aerostructures GmbH.
- Quality Review: Perform a high-level assessment of engineering deliverables for submitted changes to ensure consistency and synergies before a topic is submitted to the change process or a Change Board.
Your Skills And Qualifications
- University degree in an Enginnering discipline like aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar
- more than 5 years of experience in technical change management
- familiar with configuration management processes (used in a day to day basis for more than 5 years)
- excellent communication skills and proven in stakeholder management
- improvement mindset, affinity for artificial intelligence methods
