Position Title: Accounting & Reporting Specialist – Italy Accounting
Division: Global Finance
Reports To: Accounting Supervisor/Sr. Finance Manager
General Summary
The Accounting & Reporting Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations for an Italian entity using E-Solver (local accounting software). This role includes revenue and cost reconciliation, financial reporting, and collaborating with internal teams and consultants to ensure compliance and accuracy. The ideal candidate should be analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage both detailed financial tasks and high-level financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Record and classify all expenses accurately in accounting software.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (BS), and Cash Flow reports.
Develop and maintain financial forecast and projection reports (3-month, 6-month, etc.).
Track actual vs. budgeted financial performance and analyze variances.
Maintain and enhance MIS reports for internal review and decision-making.
Accurately record revenue transactions as they occur.
Manage key employee reimbursements.
Provide financial analytics on expenses and cash flow trends.
Qualifications & Skills
Perform additional duties as assigned based on business requirements.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting.
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of International Accounting standards.
Expertise in General Ledger (GL) and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
