We are looking for a Sales Executive based in Hong Kong.
The purpose of the Sales Executive role is to:
a) Maximize the excess capacity on the DHL air network by selling this capacity to internal and external customers and being responsible for customer satisfaction.
b) Work with internal support teams to maximize sales and revenue growth.
c) To gather detailed information about accounts, identify decision-makers, and understands strategic business challenges and priorities
How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
- Cargo Airline Sales role within DHL Air Capacity Sales (ACS).
- To promote DHL Network flight branding and services to freight forwarder customers.
- To manage and commercialise DHL Network flight air cargo capacity.
- To maintain and grow existing revenue streams and relationships with assigned customer accounts.
- To implement sales plans and processes in line with business objectives.
- To maintain daily alignment with internal teams on capacity allocation, availability, and pricing to optimise customer offers and network utilisation
- To manage multiple freight forwarder accounts in an airline‑equivalent cargo capacity sales role.
- To visit customers face‑to‑face to drive demand and strengthen commercial relationships.
- To identify sales opportunities and develop new business with existing and prospective customers.
- To accurately manage sales activity, pipeline, and performance reviews.
- To stay up to date on market intelligence and competitor behaviour.
- To execute airline‑equivalent pricing activities by issuing ad‑hoc quotations and negotiating spot and contract rates with Revenue Management to optimise yield and secure profitable business.
- To comply with all mandatory training and regulatory requirements
Do you have what it takes?
- Degree Holder or equivalent working experience in the Aviation / Air Cargo industry
- 2-3 year in Airlines / Integrator / Freight Forwarding or Air Cargo Related industry
- Fluent in English and Cantonese, written & spoken. (Other languages a benefit)
- Strong diplomacy and persuasion ability
- Flexible in working hours and ability to adjust to changes
- Team worker
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Experience in the cargo aircraft industry and knowledge of aircraft configurations and equipment/contours is a benefit
- Excellent computer skills
