VistaJet GmbH's OCC manages the day-of operations and scheduling for the Group’s fleet of super-midsize, long range and ultra-long range business jets. Our multinational OCC team combines Operations, Crew Scheduling, Travel, and Maintenance Operations Control.
Due to the expansion of flight activities, we are seeking a determined and highly motivated Tactical Controller to be based at our Hamburg Office on an indefinite contract.

Starting as a Tactical Controller with potential to progress to other roles within OCC and get more involved in flight following, fleet scheduling, operational feasibility, or as a Duty Manager, overseeing and ensuring smooth aircraft operations of the entire company.

Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of OCC, the Tactical Controller is exclusively dedicated to the tactical phase of the flight which starts on the day of operations and ends after the flight has completed all post-flight operations. You are required to maintain full overview of the whole fleet on a Tactical level by adhering to the below procedures:
- Updating and maintaining the daily tactical log
- Movement Control
- Flight Tracking and monitoring
- Handling of irregular operations by taking action on and communication delays, diversions, last-minute changes and other irregularities that may potentially affect the schedule.
- Monitoring of crew briefing acknowledgements and making crew activations / wake-up calls as applicable by Vista
- Monitoring ATFM restrictions
- Flight re-routing
- Managing Ground arrangements and permits that are pending arrangements for the day of flight, or by nature fall onto the tactical phase of the preparation such as close-out messages, or ETA updates to CBP.
- ATS FPL management
- Weather monitoring
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- In-depth knowledge of the Business Aviation environment ideally in; Flight Dispatch, or Flight Planning
- You’re able to maintain accuracy, a strong attention to detail and deliver punctually even when working under pressure.
- Excellent English language skills that will enable you to communicate clearly with your stakeholders
