With supervision from the Technical Stores Operations Manager, responsible for oversight of inventory system transactions and on-site inventory. Works closely with contracted provider as well as internal departmental team.

With supervision from the Technical Stores Operations Manager, responsible for oversight of inventory system transactions and on-site inventory. Works closely with contracted provider as well as internal departmental team.
Job Functions
- Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.
- Ensures the coordination of material shipments to and from other facilities.
- Supervises the unpacking, packing and inspection of parts.
- Oversees the stocking and storing of parts and products being shipped.
- Ensures timely shipments of repairable parts to and from the vendor.
- Manages the inventory system in accordance with Company practices and procedures, utilizing computer data information, shipping manifests and other reference materials.
- Maintains storage areas in compliance with DOT/FAA, OSHA, EPA and Company requirements.
- Supervises cycle counts and reconcile variances on a timely basis.
- Oversees resolution of incoming receiving problems with the vendor or appropriate company personnel.
- Judgment and initiative are necessary in setting priorities. Must determine if unusual problems with routine procedures require involvement of others.
- High degree of professionalism and ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two to three years of supervisor experience.
- Ability to work flexible schedule.
- Computer skills including Word, Excel, PMI
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Two years in maintenance support environment; aircraft parts inventory experience preferred.
