STS Technical Services is hiring A&P Line Maintenance Mechanics in Hebron, Kentucky, supporting operations at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).
This position plays a critical role in maintaining aircraft safety, reliability, and operational readiness by performing line maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on transport category aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.

Position Summary
The A&P Line Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance activities on the flight line including troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and component replacements. This role reports directly to the Manager of CVG Line Maintenance and requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft line maintenance with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality workmanship
- Troubleshoot aircraft systems and perform repairs using approved maintenance data
- Remove and replace aircraft components in accordance with approved procedures
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of aircraft systems and aviation maintenance practices
- Read and interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Structural Repair Manuals (SRM), Safety Manuals, and Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC)
- Interpret FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), engineering drawings, and aircraft blueprints
- Follow all FAA regulations, company procedures, and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Properly document all maintenance actions and work performed
- Support operational reliability and on time aircraft departures
Required Qualifications
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum two years of experience working on transport category aircraft such as Boeing 737, 747, 757, 767, or 777
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of aircraft maintenance practices
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one General Familiarization (Gen Fam) course on Boeing aircraft platforms preferred
- Previous Part 121 or Part 145 line maintenance experience strongly preferred
Language Skills
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and maintenance documentation
- Ability to write routine maintenance reports and logbook entries
- Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats
Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to stand, walk, reach, and use hands to handle tools and equipment
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to lift or move 50 pounds or more when required
Work Environment
- Work is performed primarily outdoors on the airport flight line
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, aircraft noise, and operational airport environments
